TF1 is preparing to launch the second season of its French adaptation Cat's Eyes on October 12. The new season opens with a heist on Mont St Michel and features locations including the Musée d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou and the Montparnasse Tower.
TF1 and producer Big Band Story began the Season 2 media campaign with a press junket at the Musée d'Orsay in late August, according to Deadline.
The series is based on Tsukasa Hojo's manga and stars Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain, with Alexandre Laurent directing.
Season 1 of the French adaptation ran for eight episodes and unfolded against Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles. It drew an average 5.3 million viewers per episode and a 41% audience share among 15 to 24-year-olds.
Season 1 was sold into more than 100 territories, with Hulu acquiring U.S. rights. Big Band Story began negotiating the rights to Cat's Eye in 2018, and the process took five years.
