Channing Dungey has officially added oversight of Paramount cable networks including MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and BET to her responsibilities, according to Deadline. She now reports to George Cheeks and JB Perrette, Co-Chairs of Skydance TV.
In a memo to staff, Dungey said it was time to "turn the page and begin a new chapter." She also highlighted that the studio has secured 13 new series orders and 13 renewals since the start of the year, with a slate of more than 80 titles across more than 20 platforms.
Dungey said she looks forward to working with Matt Thunell, President of Paramount Television Studios, and David Stapf, President of CBS Studios.
Background
In October 2025, Skydance stock struggled in its first days of trading. In early 2025, Dungey took on oversight of WBD networks such as Discovery Channel, TLC, HGTV and Food Network. HBO Max's Lanterns ranks among the top five series launches in the streamer's history, according to Dungey.
