Charlie Cox says the end of Daredevil: Born Again could let Matt Murdock appear in more Marvel movies, speaking at New York Comic-Con.
Charlie Cox said at New York Comic-Con that the end of Daredevil: Born Again could open the door for Matt Murdock to appear in more Marvel movies, according to gamesradar.com.
Cox said he and the cast filmed Daredevil: Born Again season 3 with the feeling that it would be the end of an era. The season has wrapped filming but does not yet have a release date.
Speaking at the Marvel TV and Animation panel at NYCC, Cox joked that the cancellation recalled the #SaveDaredevil campaign.
Before the premiere of Daredevil: Born Again in 2025, Matt Murdock briefly appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker's lawyer. Cox's cameo in that film marked his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and made the Netflix Daredevil series canon.
Daredevil: Born Again was announced to end after three seasons on Disney Plus, similar to the Netflix series ending in 2018.
