Chiikawa Film Adds Seventh Bonus: Nagano Clear Cards From October 24
The four random designs show scenes not in the film, including a siren with three mermaids and Shimajiro riding waves.
The Chiikawa film will offer a seventh theatrical visitor bonus: a clear card featuring newly drawn art by original creator Nagano, in four random types, distributor announced. The cards will be handed out at theaters nationwide from October 24 in limited quantities, according to cinematoday.jp.
The illustrations depict scenes that do not appear in the film. They include Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi exploring the island; Futaba sleeping in a hammock while Hitoha watches over her; a siren together with three mermaids; and Shimajiro riding the waves. Each card has holographic processing on the front.
The film opened on July 24 and has ranked No.1 in the 2026 box office ranking. As of October 18, 87 days after release, it had earned 18.1 billion yen and drawn 12.42 million admissions.
It is the first movie adaptation of the long storyline fans call the Siren arc. 4DX screenings and cheering screenings have also been well received.
