Fans Spot Possible Brainiac Tease in Clayface
A bottled figure and Area 51 references in Clayface have led some viewers to link the film to the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow, due July 9, 2027.
Fans have identified what they believe is a possible Brainiac-related easter egg in Clayface, according to comingsoon.net, and are linking it to the upcoming Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow. The film is now playing in theaters.
The scene in question, as viewers describe it, references UFOs, Area 51 and experiments involving a subject held in a bottle or pod. Some fans read the bottled figure as a nod to Brainiac, the Superman villain from DC Comics.
Clayface is the DCU's first R-rated film. DC Studios has not announced whether the character will appear in future DCU projects, so the connection remains fan interpretation rather than confirmed setup.
