Constance Wu Talks 'Terminal List' Season 2 as 'Crazy Rich Asians' HBO Series Looms
Wu says she trained with former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw for an action sequence in Season 2, which adapts Jack Carr's novel True Believer.
Constance Wu returns as journalist Katie Buranek in Season 2 of "The Terminal List" on Prime Video, and the role put her through action training with former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw for one of the season's sequences, she told Collider. The new season adapts Jack Carr's second novel, "True Believer."
In the new episodes, Buranek teams up with Raife Hastings, played by Tom Hopper, to investigate how his weapons shipment reached terrorists.
Wu's schedule is also set to include a return to a very different franchise: a sequel to "Crazy Rich Asians" has been greenlit as an HBO series, with filming slated for New York next year.
The first season of "The Terminal List" debuted four years before this interview. In that season, Buranek worked with James Reece, played by Chris Pratt, to investigate a conspiracy.
