Constantine 2 Listed in Development on Skydance Slate
Deadline's rundown places Constantine 2 in the 'Development' category, with DCU titles The Brave and the Bold and the Wonder Woman reboot in 'Early Development.'
Constantine 2 appears in the "Development" category on a list of titles at Skydance, according to Deadline, which reported the rundown following the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. The same list places the DCU titles The Brave and the Bold and the Wonder Woman reboot in an "Early Development" category.
The placement indicates that Constantine 2 is further along than those DCU projects, though no release date or production start has been announced.
Keanu Reeves starred as John Constantine in the 2005 film Constantine, which was released in theaters on February 18, 2005 and directed by Francis Lawrence. Akiva Goldsman is set to write the sequel.
Separately, James Mangold is set to direct a Swamp Thing movie for the DCU, and Robert Pattinson's Batman will co-exist with the DCU's separate Bruce Wayne.
