Crystal Lake Creator Teases Future Seasons Ahead of Premiere
Brad Caleb Kane says he and star Linda Cardellini already have ideas for more Pamela kills as the Friday the 13th prequel nears its debut.
Crystal Lake creator Brad Caleb Kane says he and star Linda Cardellini already have ideas for a potential second season, ahead of the Friday the 13th prequel series premiere.
Kane said ideas for a second season were considered during work on the first season, but were saved because the first season needed to be compact to tell one story.
He added that there is a lot more story to tell between the end of the first season and the events of the first Friday the 13th movie, and said he would like the show to eventually dovetail into the events of the first film from another perspective.
Crystal Lake premieres on Peacock in the US on October 15, and on Sky and NOW in the UK on October 19, according to gamesradar.com.
The eight-part series stars Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, a single mother in Crystal Lake whose son Jason drowns at a summer camp, and starts a decade before the events of the 1980 Friday the 13th film.
