A24 will publish an official novelization of Crystal Lake, written by Tim Waggoner, with a release set for October 15, according to joblo.com. The novelization arrives the same day the series premieres on Peacock.
Showrunner Brad Caleb Kane said he wanted a novelization for the series, a request that led to the Waggoner-penned tie-in.
Waggoner previously wrote novelizations of the X Trilogy. Kane read the E.T. novel by William Kotzwinkle as a kid, an early connection to tie-in fiction.
Chris Bumbray caught the first two episodes of Crystal Lake at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year.
