Warner Bros. Unveils Poster for Looney Tunes Short Daffy Season
The animated short, which pairs Daffy Duck with a football-obsessed Elmer Fudd, plays in theaters with The Cat in the Hat on November 6, 2026.
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has released a new poster for its animated short Daffy Season, which will screen exclusively in theaters alongside The Cat in the Hat on November 6, 2026, according to comingsoon.net. The short's official Instagram account shared the poster with the caption “Not quite the kickoff Daffy had in mind.”
Daffy Season follows Daffy Duck as Elmer Fudd becomes more interested in watching football than in hunting. The short is directed by Todd Wilderman and Hamish Grieve from a story written with Jenny Jaffe, and produced by Susan Slagle Rogers.
DNEG handled the animation, combining computer animation with painterly textures and traditional 2D-style effects. Eric Bauza voices Daffy Duck, while Jeff Bergman voices Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny and Bob Bergen voices Porky Pig. The cast also includes Gabriel Iglesias as Speedy Gonzales, Kath Soucie as Lola Bunny and Fred Tatasciore as Yosemite Sam.
The Cat in the Hat, the feature the short will accompany, stars Bill Hader as the titular character.
Festival run
Daffy Season premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June 2026, ahead of its theatrical pairing with The Cat in the Hat.
