Marvel Confirms Daredevil: Born Again Will End With Season 3
Charlie Cox says the cast knew in advance, and Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones and Mike Colter return for a Defenders reunion on Disney+.
Marvel has made it official that the third season of Daredevil: Born Again will be the series' final season. The show will premiere on Disney+ in March 2027, according to joblo.com.
Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil, said at New York Comic-Con that the cast knew about the cancellation in advance this time. The final season will feature a Defenders reunion, with Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones and Mike Colter returning.
The third season finished shooting several months ago and is in post-production. Showrunner Dario Scardapane has quietly parted ways with Marvel after his contract was not renewed.
Daredevil was previously cancelled after three seasons on Netflix. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 accumulated 4,515,000 season views across its first five episodes, while Season 1 generated 8,357,000 season views in the same window, a decline of roughly 46% in total views and over 54% in total hours watched. Scardapane took over the show during its creative overhaul.
