Defenders of Hogwarts, a tabletop strategy board game set in the Wizarding World, has raised more than £1.3 million on Kickstarter from over 10,000 backers, far surpassing its £50,000 goal. The campaign was reported by Screen Rant.
Designed by MinaLima with industrial designer David Waterman, the game supports two to five players during an attack on Hogwarts. Players can choose to defend the school or align with the Dark Forces.
The base game is scheduled to ship to Kickstarter backers in October 2026, with a recommended UK retail price of £75. The Collector's Box and premium add-ons are targeted for March 2027.
The base game will also appear at select House of MinaLima locations in autumn 2026, while wholesale availability for other retailers is planned for 2027.
