Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Begins Streaming on Paramount+
New episodes of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 will roll out weekly on Paramount+, with the finale set for New Year's Day.
The first episode of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is now streaming on Paramount+, according to Collider. New installments will follow on a weekly basis, and the season is scheduled to wrap with a finale on New Year's Day.
Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter in the series, which continues the franchise that began with Dexter.
The renewal and production timeline follow the show's previous run: the first season of Dexter: Resurrection aired last year, and Paramount renewed the series for a second season, with production starting earlier this year.
The franchise's recent history has included shifts behind the scenes. Dexter: New Blood was poorly received by many fans, who do not consider it canon, while Dexter: Original Sin was cancelled after one season despite originally being renewed. Clyde Phillips, the creator of Dexter, confirmed last year that a planned spin-off centered on John Lithgow's Trinity Killer was cancelled before production.
