The show, created by Sterlin Harjo of Reservation Dogs, first premiered on FX in 2025.

Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the series features Keith David, Kyle MacLachlan, Macon Blair, Tim Blake Nelson, Tracy Letts, and Peter Dinklage alongside Hawke.

Its eight-episode first season ran from September to October 2025 and holds a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hawke earned an Oscar nomination for his lead performance in Richard Linklater's Blue Moon. He has also starred in Showtime's Western limited series The Good Lord Bird and appeared alongside Russell Crowe in The Weight.
