Marvel's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 Lands January 13, 2027 on Disney+

New key art has confirmed that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on January 13, 2027, according to Bleeding Cool. The date was set after the show was revealed at New York Comic Con 2026.

Marvel has not yet detailed which characters will appear in the second season, though footage screened earlier at D23 offered a look at what is coming.

That footage teased Eddie Brock, a Spider-Man fight with Doc Ock during a gala, Doc Ock kidnapping Harry Osborn, and Peter Parker being exposed to symbiote goo. It also previewed Spider-Gwen and a red-suited Daredevil, with Charlie Cox returning to the role.

A separate clip shown at D23 featured Daredevil and Finesse fighting side-by-side.

Earlier announcement at D23

During Disney's D23: The Ultimate Fan Event on August 15, 2026, Marvel announced that the animated series would return for Season 2 in January 2027 and screened the new footage. Finesse, created by writer Christos Gage and artist Mike McKone, first appeared in June 2010's Avengers Academy #1. Gage posted on social media on August 15, 2026, praising Finesse's role, and series creator Jeff Trammell responded the same day.
