Niamh Algar and Fanny Ardant to Lead Thriller Series Harmonia

ITV Studios has announced the UK-Greek thriller series Harmonia, with Niamh Algar and Fanny Ardant set to lead the cast. The series is a co-production from Warp Films, ITV Studios and Greek public broadcaster ERT, and will begin filming in Athens ahead of a 2027 launch.

Harmonia is set in an AI-controlled high-end luxury resort and wellness facility. Algar plays Shona Casey, the creator of the AI, while Ardant plays the resort's former owner. Chloe Lea plays a young staff member with whom the AI becomes obsessed.

The cast also includes Oliver Chris, Abubakar Salim, Goran Bogdan, Theo Augier and George Ioannides, alongside Greek actors Pygmalion Dadakaridis, Konstantinos Zografos, Antigoni Frida and Zoe-Stella Nikolaou.

The series is created by Peter Carlton, Lefteris Charitos, Amanda Livanou and Hanna Jameson. Charitos directs all six episodes, and Jameson serves as lead writer, with episodes written by Alki Papastathopoulos and Panayotis Christopoulos.

Filming will take place on location in Athens at Cape Sounio resort and Kapa2 Studios. Harmonia is produced in association with and distributed internationally by ITV Studios, and is co-financed by ITV Studios and ERT, with development support from the Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Fund and Creative Europe Media. The series is an international co-production between Warp and Greek producers Neda Film.

In October 2025, it was announced that Warp Films co-produced Adolescence with Brad Pitt's Plan B, while Charitos previously directed Wild Bees, one of Greek television's biggest successes. Jameson is the best-selling author of The Last and a writer on the upcoming Netflix series The Twin, starring Jamie Dornan.
