Hayley Atwell said Marvel filmed multiple storylines for Avengers: Doomsday during production, and that some of them were dropped to find what made the most sense for the characters. The actress, who plays Peggy Carter in the Marvel films, discussed the film in an interview with The Playlist.
Atwell also said Avengers: Doomsday arrives in December and described the level of its ambition and scope as extraordinary.
In the film, Marvel heroes across the multiverse team up to face Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. The Russo Brothers directed Avengers: Doomsday.
The project follows Avengers: Endgame as Marvel's next major superhero team-up. Small details about it were teased in the post-credits scenes of Avengers: Endgame: Encore, which featured the TVA and a tease of Doctor Doom's full debut.
