HBO's Louise Woodward Series Adds Jack Reynor, John Magaro, Natalia Dyer

Jack Reynor, John Magaro and Natalia Dyer join HBO's limited series The Trial of Louise Woodward, from creator Matthew Barry and director Susanne Bier.

HBO has added three actors to its limited series The Trial of Louise Woodward. Jack Reynor, John Magaro and Natalia Dyer have joined the cast, Deadline reports.

Reynor will play Gerry Leone, the lead prosecutor in the central trial. Magaro will play lead defense counsel Barry Scheck, while Dyer will play Middlesex County assistant district attorney Ada Lynn Rooney.

The series is created by Matthew Barry, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Susanne Bier directs all episodes and executive produces. Big Light Productions and Anton TV are the production companies.

The drama tells the true story of an 18-year-old British au pair accused in 1997 of shaking to death a baby left in her care by her American host family.

As previously announced, Joanne Froggatt plays Louise's mother Susan, Meghann Fahy and Sagar Radia play Deborah and Sunil Eappen, Chloë Sevigny plays defense attorney Elaine Whitfield Sharp, and Hugh Laurie plays Judge Hiller B. Zobel.
