Bleecker Street and LD Entertainment will campaign Helen Mirren for Lead Actress at the 99th Academy Awards for her role in A Talent For Murder, according to Deadline.
Mirren, who won the Best Actress Oscar for 2006's The Queen and has four Academy Award nominations, plays author Patricia Highsmith in the film.
The campaign will also spotlight Alden Ehrenreich for Lead Actor and Olivia Cooke for Best Supporting Actress.
A Talent For Murder had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Anton Corbijn directed from a screenplay by Joanna Murray-Smith.
The film is a fictional encounter set in 1995 in which Highsmith is asked to write another Tom Ripley story. It opens in theaters on October 23.
