The International Cinematographers Guild has announced that the 64th annual ICG Publicists Awards luncheon will be held on March 12, 2027, at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, according to Deadline. The event falls on the Friday before the Academy Awards.
The guild also set its nomination and voting timeline. Television nominations will be announced on December 3, 2026, and motion picture nominations will follow on January 13, 2027. Final ballot voting closes on February 4, 2027.
The awards recognize work in entertainment publicity. The most recent edition, the 63rd Publicists Awards, was held earlier in 2025, when Noah Wyle was honored as TV Showperson Of The Year.
At that ceremony, the teams behind Warner Bros.' Sinners and HBO Max's The Pitt took the top prizes. Michelle Alt of Paramount Pictures won the Publicist of the Year Award, Kevin McCarthy of On Film received the Press Award, and Ali Plumb of BBC Radio in the UK took the International Media Award. Jimmy Kimmel accepted the President's Award.
The group behind the event traces its history to 1937, when entertainment publicists first formed a union as the Screen Publicists Guild. In 2002, the Publicists Guild merged with the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 600.
