IDW Relaunches Star Trek Comic with Seven of Nine as Captain

IDW Publishing has relaunched its flagship Star Trek comic series with Star Trek #1, placing Seven of Nine in the captain's chair of the Enterprise-G.
The Enterprise-G was originally the USS Titan-A, seen in Star Trek: Picard season 3. After the Borg threat was neutralized, Admiral Tuvok promoted Seven to captain, and the Titan was rechristened as the Enterprise-G following the planned decommissioning of the Enterprise-F.
In the new series, Raffi Musiker serves as Seven's first officer, while Jack Crusher advises her as a special counselor.
The story will continue in the spinoff series Star Trek: Zero Point, which builds off the events of Star Trek #1 starting next month.
