Ilse Salas has been set to lead the cast of To Die on Your Feet (Morir de Pie), the new dramedy from Chile's Quijote Films. The project was pitched this week at Iberseries & Platino Industria in Madrid, the industry event where producers shop upcoming titles to international buyers and partners.

The production is a six-country co-production: Quijote Films (Chile), Amore Cine (Spain), Sutor Kolonko (Germany), Tarantula (Luxembourg), Bocacha (Uruguay) and MartFilms (Mexico). It has already been acquired by Hulu, HBO and Mubi for various territories, according to Variety.
Salas won Mexico's Best Actress Ariel Award for The Good Girls in 2019. Director María Paz González's fiction debut, Lina de Lima, world premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and won at FIC Valdivia.
Quijote Films has completed 35 international co-productions to date.
