Apple TV has renewed Imperfect Women for Season 2, according to Collider, even though the drama was originally ordered as a limited series.
The second season will move beyond Araminta Hall's novel and tell an original story from creator Annie Weisman and co-showrunner Justin Hillia. Kerry Washington's Eleanor will lead the season, which relocates to Martha's Vineyard.
Elisabeth Moss will not return as Mary for Season 2, but she will remain an executive producer on the series.
What Season 1 Covered
Season 1 primarily adapted Hall's novel, in which a murder affected three lifelong friends. Mary and Eleanor dealt with the aftermath of their friend Nancy's death.
Apple TV has extended other series recently. Slow Horses has run for six seasons, with a seventh already picked up, and Margo's Got Money Troubles earned eight Emmy nominations and a second-season renewal.
