The documentary follows the pair as they explore adulting and making the most of midlife. It takes the form of a travelogue-style road trip, with unconventional adventures both at home and abroad.
The show is produced by Idle Industries in conjunction with Fudge Park, with Damon Beesley and Will Macdonald producing. Deadline reported the commission.
The Inbetweeners first aired in 2008, when Thomas and Buckley were in their early twenties playing late-teen characters. The series ran for three series and spawned two movies.
A third film is on the way at Netflix, with all stars reprising their roles.
