Heated Rivalry's Irina Foundation Becomes Real Charity

Accent Aigu Entertainment launches a real-life Irina Foundation, inspired by Rachel Reid's Game Changer books, with backing from Kate Spade New York and Harry's.

Accent Aigu Entertainment has turned a fictional charity into a real one. On Tuesday the company launched a real-life version of the Irina Foundation, the nonprofit created by Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov in Rachel Reid's Game Changer book series.

The new fund received an inaugural donation from Kate Spade New York, with early support from Harry's. It is described as a private, independent fund focused on inclusivity and mental well-being through sports and the arts, with an emphasis on LGBTQIA2S+ and underserved communities.

The launch arrives as the television adaptation of Reid's books, Heated Rivalry, continues to expand. Deadline reported that production on Season 2 of Jacob Tierney's Crave Original series began in Canada last month.

Deadline also recently reported the Season 2 cast, which includes Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer, Shaheen Jafargholi, Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, Priyanka, Brendan Morgan, David Tomlinson, Gerry Dee, Michelle Mylett, Lauren Chan and Nick Stahl.

Season 2 of Heated Rivalry is set to premiere in spring 2027.
