The actor's credits include Lenny Abrahamson's What Richard Did (2012), Sing Street (2016), and Flora and Son (2023), in which he starred alongside Eve Hewson. He worked with the Russo brothers on Cherry (2021) and appears in the 2026 Prime Video spy drama Citadel.

His other film and television work includes Glassland (2014), Free Fire (2016), Detroit (2017), On the Basis of Sex (2018) and the 2024 Netflix limited series The Perfect Couple. He stars with Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd in Power Ballad (2026).
