Jason Simms has launched Fusebox Entertainment, a London-based scripted drama company, ahead of MIPCOM, according to deadline.com. Simms will lead the new venture, which combines scripted consultancy work with its own drama slate.

Fusebox launches with consultancy partnerships in Europe and the U.S. The company has co-production and development deals in place with Cosmopolitan Pictures, Saga Film and High Road Entertainment.

The company will offer executive producer services, development, co-production, financing and distribution consultation.

Simms's Prior Roles

In March 2026, Simms exited his role as UK Managing Director at Cineflix-backed C3 Media, where he worked on deals with Raindog Films and Drama Republic. He previously served as SVP of Global Acquisitions at Fox Networks Group, where he acquired U.S. franchises including The Walking Dead, Dexter and Legion.

At Sky Studios, Simms oversaw commercial strategy on more than 60 Sky originals and third-party scripted series, and developed a local originals strategy that yielded the Polish drama Sleboda for the SkyShowtime launch.
