Josh Goldstine is set to be appointed to a new role at Skydance overseeing marketing and distribution across Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures and all subsequent film labels, according to Variety. He will oversee marketing and distribution across all theatrical film.
Goldstine met with Warner Bros. marketing executives Dana Nussbaum and Christian Davin, and Jeff Goldstein, president of global theatrical distribution. In the new structure, Nussbaum, Davin and Goldstein will report to Goldstine.
Representatives for Warner Bros. Pictures and Paramount had no immediate comment.
Background
In October 2025, Goldstine joined Paramount as president of worldwide marketing and distribution, reporting to Paramount Pictures co-chairs Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg, after David Ellison acquired the company that August. He previously served as president of worldwide marketing at Warner Bros., departing in January 2025. On Tuesday, Ellison officially closed the deal for Warner Bros. The day before closing, Ellison spelled out his leadership team, confirming Ynon Kreiz as co-CEO, George Cheeks as co-chair and chief content officer of Skydance TV, Casey Bloys as co-chair and chief content officer, JB Perrette as co-chair and chief business officer of both Skydance TV and Skydance DTC, Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg as co-chairs of Skydance Motion Picture Group overseeing Warner Bros. and Paramount, and James Gunn and Peter Safran remaining as co-chairs of DC Studios.
