Juno Films has acquired North American rights to The Extraordinary Miss Flower, with plans for a theatrical launch in New York City and Los Angeles in early 2027. The release will include live Q&As featuring Emilíana Torrini, followed by a digital rollout across multiple channels.
The film is directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the duo behind 20,000 Days on Earth. It tells the story of Geraldine Flower and a suitcase of love letters from the 1960s and 1970s that inspired Torrini to return to the studio.
The cast includes Richard Ayoade, Siggi Baldursson, Nick Cave, Alice Lowe, Mark Monero, Niall Murphy and Angus Sampson, with the voice of Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The film was shot at Distillery II studio near Bristol and is backed by Sam Dyson and Distiller Music.
