Kris Bowers will compose the original score for Disney's animated feature Hexed, according to Variety. The film is set to arrive in theaters on November 25.
Hexed stars Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Jodie Foster and Walton Goggins. It is directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, with Roy Conli and Yvett Merino producing.
Bowers said the score draws on an unusual set of air-based instruments, including bird call whistles, a wind wand, nose flutes, bottles, kazoos and air sirens.
The composer's other upcoming work includes the music for Netflix's animated film Steps and the score for the Paramount/Skydance sports drama Mr. Irrelevant: The John Tuggle Story, which premieres on December 25. He also composed the score for Breakwater Studios' documentary The Eyes Of Ghana.
