Kubrick Estate to Tour and Auction Personal Collection

Hundreds of items from Stanley Kubrick's personal film collection will tour New York, Los Angeles, Paris and London before a February 3 auction at Bonhams.

Hundreds of items from Stanley Kubrick's personal film collection will go on tour before being auctioned at Bonhams in London on February 3, the auction house said.

Select pieces will be shown at Bonhams New York from October 16 to 23, followed by Bonhams Los Angeles from November 2 to 6 and Bonhams Paris on select days from November 16 to 24. The full collection will be on display at Bonhams London from January 18 to February 2, ahead of the sale.

Among the lots are the star child prop from 2001: A Space Odyssey and the axe Kubrick owned from The Shining. The collection also includes costumes worn by the Grady twins in The Shining, Kubrick's director's chair and his annotated scripts.
