Travis Knight Says LAIKA Has New Films in Untried Genres
The director says the studio is developing stories unlike anything it has made, but stop-motion means no film arrives soon.
Travis Knight said LAIKA is developing several new films in genres the studio has never explored, and that none of them will arrive soon. Knight's comments were reported by Collider.
According to Knight, the studio has several projects in development beyond Wildwood. He said LAIKA is developing stories that are unlike anything it has done before, and that it is exploring genres it has never tackled before.
Knight also said no new LAIKA film is arriving soon, because stop-motion production takes time.
