In the U.S. alone, the finale tallied 7.2 million viewers. The season is averaging 19.3 million global viewers and growing, and Lanterns remains among the top five HBO series launches in platform history.

The finale's 10.5 million global figure exceeds the 9.3 million global cross-platform viewers who watched the series premiere in its first three days in August 2025 on HBO and HBO Max, when the U.S. total was 6.6 million.
