Chris Mundy, co-showrunner of Lanterns, said John Stewart's Green Lantern suit was not included in the first season of the series and would likely appear in a second season. Mundy confirmed that a suit design for John Stewart was created during early production, alongside designs for Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner.
All eight episodes of Lanterns are now streaming on HBO Max.
In the first season, John Stewart received his Green Lantern ring and resolved his storyline with mentor Hal Jordan. The suit itself, however, never appeared on screen.
Aaron Pierre will reprise his role as John Stewart in James Gunn's Man of Tomorrow, which hits theaters on July 9, 2027.
