LEGO unveils 37,000-piece Derpy build at LEGO World 2026
Designer Björn Ramant's commissioned Derpy statue from KPop Demon Hunters took about 2.5 months of on-and-off work and is not for sale.
LEGO designer Björn Ramant showed off a 37,000-piece LEGO model of Derpy from KPop Demon Hunters in a video posted to Instagram on October 15, according to cbr.com. The finished build appears to stand more than four feet tall, though exact dimensions were not stated.
Ramant supported the structure with steel rods and an interior LEGO grid, beginning with the tiger's tail before moving on to the main statue. He said the project took roughly 2.5 months of on-and-off work to complete.
The oversized Derpy is a commissioned project from LEGO and Netflix and is not for sale at present. The completed design is on display at LEGO World 2026, which runs October 15-21 at the Jaarbeurs convention center in Utrecht, Netherlands.
An earlier, smaller Derpy set
In June 2026, a Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird LEGO set of 825 pieces was released as the first KPop Demon Hunters LEGO set. KPop Demon Hunters, released in 2025, became the most-watched Netflix original of all time, and a sequel is expected to premiere in 2029 at the earliest.
