Lego Friends: Heartlake the Musical Sets Global Streaming Rollout

The live-action musical debuts Oct. 16 on Netflix and Lego's YouTube Channel, with Peacock handling the Americas and Tubi arriving Nov. 2.

Lego Friends: Heartlake the Musical will debut globally on Netflix and Lego's YouTube Channel on Oct. 16, with Peacock holding rights for the Americas on the same date, according to Variety.

The rollout continues across several regions. DuoMedia brings the film to the Baltics on Oct. 17, and Turkcell launches it in Turkey the same day. VTM Go follows in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg on Oct. 19.

Tubi will debut the film in the U.S., Canada, LatAm, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. on Nov. 2. AMC Networks acquired rights for Hungary, Romania, Moldova, the Czech Republic and Slovakia from Nov. 1, while Czech TV will air the film on Dec. 1 and it debuts in Israel on Zoom/Imagine Kids on Jan. 1.

The film is also set to launch in China on Tencent Kids, Youku Kids and BesTV, with dates to be confirmed.

Cast and production

The film stars Jada Langley and Gino Ochello, is directed by Paul Becker and executive produced by Kenny Ortega. It is Lego's first live-action musical feature, a 50-minute original story.
