The Netflix spin-off Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery is set to begin filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, on January 19, 2027, according to production listings cited by Collider. The listed filming window runs through June 9, 2027.
The series is co-created and co-showrun by Jeff Rake, who created Manifest, alongside Margaret Easley and Laura Putney, both veterans of the original show. Rake also returns as an executive producer.
Netflix greenlit the spin-off in late August 2026, extending a franchise that began on broadcast television.
From NBC cancellation to Netflix
NBC premiered Manifest in 2018, built around passengers on a flight from Jamaica to New York who land to discover more than five years have passed. The network cancelled the series in June 2021 after three seasons, saying it no longer fit its ratings model.
Netflix then picked up Manifest, and the series rose up the platform's charts. The original starred Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas.
