Marvel Announces Zodiac Series, Set for 2028

Marvel confirmed the sequel series as its first new TV project after Avengers: Doomsday, with the plot still under wraps.

Marvel has officially announced a new sequel series titled Zodiac, targeted for release in 2028, according to screenrant.com. The project is described as the first new TV series confirmed after Avengers: Doomsday.

The plot of Zodiac remains under wraps. The announced logo carries SHIELD's identifiable emblem, tying the series visually to the agency at the center of Marvel's earlier television output.

Clark Gregg, who plays Phil Coulson, posted the Zodiac logo on Instagram, giving the announcement its most direct link to the franchise's TV history.

Agents of SHIELD, the series that introduced Coulson as a lead, premiered in 2013, a year after The Avengers, and ran for seven seasons. Daredevil: Born Again later alluded to Agents of SHIELD being canon within the MCU.

Elsewhere on Marvel's slate, Daredevil: Born Again season 3 will release shortly after Avengers: Doomsday and will be its final season. An X-Men reboot is planned for after Secret Wars.
