Marvel Confirms Zodiac Spy Thriller Series, Eyeing 2028 Release

Marvel has confirmed that Zodiac, a new spy thriller series, is officially in the works. The project is eyeing a 2028 release, according to Collider.

Plot details about Zodiac are being kept under wraps. The logo for the series is eerily similar to that of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The announcement adds another title to Marvel's expanding television slate. The company has not yet shared a platform or cast for the series.

Elsewhere on Marvel's schedule, the studio's only movie of 2026 so far, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is the highest-grossing movie in American box office history and one of the few films to cross the $2.5 billion milestone at the global box office.

Marvel also brought back Daredevil: Born Again and X-Men '97 for new seasons, both returning next year for Season 3, while its new show Wonder Man was canceled after one season after it was first renewed for Season 2.

Next up on Marvel's slate is VisionQuest, a new Disney Plus series starring Paul Bettany, which will lead directly into the events of Avengers: Doomsday on December 18.
