Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, said Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier is the most advanced of the projects in the works, with its animatics locked and shots now being built. He gave the update in comments reported by comingsoon.net.

Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ during Halloween 2027. It will be followed by Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu in 2028 and Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian in 2029.
Background
The original four-episode Marvel Zombies series premiered on Disney+ on September 24, 2025. Bucky Barnes did not appear in that 2025 series despite his role in the zombie episode of What If...?; director Bryan Andrews previously explained that Bucky's storyline was too large to fit into the first season.
