Massive Studios is producing three AI-powered animated Christmas short films in partnership with CapCut, the companies announced at a panel during the Toronto International Film Festival.
Reza Sixo Safai will direct the shorts from scripts by Paul A. Kaplan and Mark Torgove, with Todd Garner producing. The films are being developed using AI tools including Video Studio and the AI video generation model Seedance 2.5.
A trailer will debut over Thanksgiving weekend in November, and the final films will be released free of charge on Christmas Eve.
A streaming or distribution partner, titles, voice cast and other creative collaborators have not yet been announced.

Garner has worked on about 170 projects, including Mortal Kombat, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Vacation Friends, Zookeeper and Jack and Jill. Kaplan and Torgove previously worked on The Late Bloomer, Dr. Ken, Outsourced, George Lopez, Play Dates, Just Shoot Me! and Spin City.
