Prime Video heist comedy Masterplan enters streaming charts
Directed by Thomas Vincent, the France-set film arrived on Prime Video days before Lupin's fourth season returns to Netflix.
Masterplan, a France-set heist comedy directed by Thomas Vincent, has entered the streaming charts days after its release on Prime Video, according to Collider. The film arrived on the service shortly before Lupin returns to Netflix.
Vincent has worked with Prime Video before, on the series Reacher and the film Role Play, and he also directed episodes of Netflix's Bodyguard.
Masterplan is being positioned as an alternative to Lupin, the Omar Sy-led series co-created by George Kay and based on the literary character Arsène Lupin. That show debuted on Netflix in 2021.

Lupin is set to return for its fourth season on October 23, 2026, after a three-year gap. Its first two seasons drew 99 million and 68 million views respectively, both landing on Netflix's all-time top-10 list.
