Masters of the Universe Lands on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD
The Amazon MGM Studios release includes a behind-the-scenes gallery, a featurette and the trailers among its special features.
Amazon MGM Studios' Masters of the Universe is now available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, according to joblo.com. The home video edition arrives with a behind-the-scenes promotional gallery, a featurette and the film's trailers as special features.
The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Camila Mendes as Teela and Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms. Travis Knight directed.
The movie was designed for an eventual run on Amazon Prime Video as an Original, and the physical release marks a step the studio has not always taken.
Older titles stayed digital
In earlier cases, Amazon did not give films such as Saltburn, Nickel Boys and its Road House remake physical media releases.
Masters of the Universe grossed $64 million domestically and $48 million overseas, for just over $113 million worldwide, and drew pretty good reviews and solid word-of-mouth.
Knight's upcoming film Wildwood is coming out this week.
