McFarlane Toys Unveils Unmasked Michael Keaton Batman Figure
The seven-inch Batman Returns figure costs $34.99 and is estimated to ship in November 2026, with accessories including a broken mask.
McFarlane Toys has revealed an unmasked Batman action figure modelled on Michael Keaton's appearance in Batman Returns. The figure, officially titled Batman Unmasked (Batman Returns) Deluxe Theatrical Edition, is now available for pre-order on the company's website at $34.99.
The figure stands seven inches tall and carries 22 moving parts under McFarlane Toys' Ultra Articulation system. Accessories include a broken mask, a grapnel launcher, a batarang, two extra hands, a base and an art card.
The item is estimated to ship in November 2026, and the company notes the exact date may change.
Part of a three-figure line
The Batman figure is one of three Deluxe Theatrical Edition releases. The other two are Oswald Cobblepot from HBO's The Penguin and Batgirl from Batman & Robin. The three are offered together as a bundle for $89.22, compared with $104.97 if bought individually.
Keaton first played Batman in Tim Burton's 1989 film and reprised the role in Batman Returns, released in 1992, which also featured Danny DeVito's Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman. McFarlane Toys introduced its DC Multiverse line of action figures in 2020, and its DC licensing agreement is set to expire in December 2026 as Mattel prepares a new DC product line for 2027.
