Director Mike Flanagan said during a Reddit AMA that he is interested in developing a sequel to Jaws and a Jurassic Park film conceived as a true dinosaur horror movie, according to Screen Rant.
Flanagan said no one could match the original Jaws, but he saw room for improvement on the sequels that followed it. He did not say whether any studio had approached him about either property.
On Jurassic Park, Flanagan described the project he would want to make as a dinosaur horror film rather than a straight adventure. No writer, studio or release window was attached to either idea.
