Milly Alcock Deletes Supergirl Posts From Instagram

The actress removed numerous Supergirl posts, including her casting announcement, while DC Studios has announced no projects for her beyond Man of Tomorrow.

Milly Alcock has deleted numerous Supergirl posts from her Instagram account, according to comingsoon.net. The removed posts include the one announcing her casting in the role.

Some videos of Alcock remain in her Instagram Reels section, and a Vogue promotional photo shoot post remains intact. Alcock has not publicly commented on removing the posts.

DC Studios has not announced any other projects featuring Alcock's Supergirl beyond Man of Tomorrow, which is set for release on July 9, 2027.

Alcock debuted as Supergirl in 2025's Superman. Her solo film Supergirl was released in June 2026 to negative reviews and grossed just over $126 million worldwide against a production budget of approximately $180 million. The film needed to reach $315 million to break even but failed to do so, and it arrived on home video just over a month after its theatrical release.

DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran defended the project, stating it is part of a broader, long-term strategy.
