Quirk Books is releasing a deluxe 15th-anniversary edition of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children on November 17, according to ScreenRant, which shared an exclusive first look at five pieces of artwork from the new version.
The edition brings back original designer Doogie Horner, who returned to create a reimagined package for the novel. It features a golden foil-stamped cover, illustrated endpapers with red gilded edges, and a premium slipcase.
All photographs in the book, including never-before-seen ones, were restored in full-color sepia. The edition also includes an afterword in which author Ransom Riggs reveals the origin story of the novel.
The release marks the 15th anniversary of the bestseller, first published in 2011.
From Page to Screen
Tim Burton directed a film adaptation of the novel in 2016, starring Asa Butterfield, Eva Green and Samuel L. Jackson. The film grossed $296 million at the box office and earned nominations at the People's Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards and Saturn Awards.
