Chanel Simmons, a veteran of Spotify, Meta and Fullscreen, joins creator-economy firm Motion Society as Managing Director, U.S.
Motion Society has appointed Chanel Simmons as its Managing Director, U.S., the company confirmed. Simmons brings more than a decade of creator-economy experience to the role, having previously worked at Spotify, Meta and Fullscreen.
At Fullscreen, Simmons led YouTube syndication before moving to FaZe Clan's owned channels business, where she worked with a 50-strong creator roster. At Spotify, she focused on digital content partnerships, onboarding creators and helping creator service providers expand their YouTube video programming to the platform.
Motion Society was founded in 2022 by Martin Belotti, Thomas Subra, Jean-Loup Fraudin and Lucas Falga. The company works with around 650 creators and distributes more than 30,000 videos each month.
