Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul, EVP Communications for Disney Entertainment Television, is leaving the company after eight years to pursue a new opportunity, she announced in a memo to her team. Details about her next role are expected to be announced soon.
Her departure marks the end of a tenure that spanned several key communications roles across Disney's entertainment brands, including Freeform, ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, FX and National Geographic Content.
Bulochnikov-Paul first joined Disney in March 2017 as VP Communications at Freeform following its rebrand from ABC Family. In January 2018, she spearheaded the first-ever Freeform Summit. She then left for a nine-month stint at Netflix before returning to her Freeform role in October 2018.
She was promoted to SVP of Communications for ABC Entertainment in 2019, then to EVP, Publicity for ABC & General Entertainment in 2021, and to EVP, Publicity, and Head of Communications for Disney General Entertainment in 2023. In April, her position slightly changed in the new communications executive structure under new Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro.
Earlier this year, she was honored with the Medal of Hope Award from Race to Erase MS. Deadline first reported her exit.
