NCIS Season 24 Poster Confirms Michael Weatherly as Seventh Cast Member
CBS's official NCIS season 24 poster confirms Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo Jr. as the seventh member of the ensemble cast.
CBS has released the official poster for NCIS season 24, and it confirms what fans have been waiting for: Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo Jr. is back as the seventh member of the ensemble. The poster places him alongside the show's current regulars, making his return official ahead of the new season.
Weatherly joins a cast that includes Sean Murray's Timothy McGee, Brian Dietzen's Jimmy Palmer, Wilmer Valderrama's Nick Torres, Diona Reasonover's Kasie Hines, Katrina Law's Jessica Knight, and Gary Cole's Alden Parker. The seven-strong lineup marks one of the most crowded NCIS rosters in recent memory.
One key position remains unfilled. The NCIS director role is still vacant following Leon Vance's death, and CBS has been using rotating interims to fill the gap. Rocky Carroll had played Director Leon Vance since 2008, a role he held for more than a decade and a half.
Weatherly's return was confirmed during the off-season, after Paramount+ cancelled NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The actor originated the role of Tony DiNozzo Jr. on the flagship series, which first premiered on September 23, 2003 on CBS.
As reported by Screen Rant, the poster gives the clearest picture yet of how the season 24 ensemble will look when the show returns.
